      Read the article in the July issue of Texas Saltwater Magazine about the ray hit that one guide took and it will make you purchase guards. The pictures made my stomach turn.

        Are you referring to Mike McBride? 2Cool did an auction for him and raised over 25K last I looked!

          Yes that who I am talking about, it was bad! Donna and I are going to get some ray guards now. We have the boots, but not the shin guards.

              I saw some schooling rays on the north shoreline of west bay the other day. Pretty cool but its amazing how many there are out there..

                  Saw the biggest stingray of my life in west bay dont fish there stingrays are bad and fishing is crummy!!!!!!! Try upper chocolate bayou its great this time of year!!!

                    I saw one the other wknd clear launch itself out the water... must have had a 4-5 ft wingspan... looked crazy!

                        Sorry Corndog, but I have to disagree with your statement that the fishing is crummy in West Bay. We have been catching some nice fish and read some of the reports. SLP rocks this time of year.

                          Sheeit, Corndog fishes xmas-that's where he broke down-that aint west bay. He prolly scared the fish outta xmas into west bay with all the hollering at the azzes that past em and left him for dead until the 2 cool guys pulled him in!! J/K Corny!

                            I have also seen A LOT of rays on the north shoreline lately. In schools of 5-8. The little dinner plate sized ones. Yall watch out.
