GPS Wanted

My GPS is fried from being underwater when the boat sank. I guess they are not really "waterproof". I would like to get the same one, but they are not made any longer and I can't find one. I am going to be headed to Matty in 4 weeks and need to get one on the boat before I leave.
I had the Garmin 178C.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.

What is your price range. The 440s is a really nice one and definately worth the money in my opinion. My dad did allot of shopping around and picked it up for around 360 plus shipping. I've seen some 276c on ebay brand new for less than 300 too.

Where did he get the 440 for 360.00? I would still have to get the map card also, so that is another 200.00ish. I have the bluechart, so I would prefer to get one that will work with it so I won't have to spend the extra $ on it.

Inhammer I have a used one I took off my boat it's a garmin...i'll post pictures tomorrow i'll take 50.00 . or I have a Lowrance H20 color hand held new in box with reciepts for around 50.00 under retail...
