www.powertochoose.com put in your zip code and compare the rates. Then take a look at the Electricity Facts Labels once you have narrowed it down to three.

Last bit of advice. Make sure you look at the payment options before you sign. Some providers do not accept CC's/Debit Cards as payment.

Your lucky... Stream got the boot too 1-2 cents higher than anyone else in my area 2 years ago when I switched.

We stayed @ Reliant and haven't had a problem, except galloping lines two winters ago, and that wouldn't have mattered who your provider was.

....I am not sure who my provider is. I ran some ROMEX up on the pole to the transformer and "borrowed" a meter from over in Bacliff that works just fine. I heard from somewhere on the Al Gore invented interweb that those new SMART meters have cameras and recording devices in them so decided to go the Pirate method to get that stuff outa here.

Them smarT meters is evil. hey... what size romex you use on that?
