Nice read, I've jumped a few off of the Pass and MOB, but never landed one. I may try it again this summer.

I was lucky enough to get to sit down and have a beer with some tarpon guides out if Galveston a few months ago who gave me some tips so I'm going off more than the article , thank God

Tarpon feed at night and that's the time to get them.
They seem to like deeper water and will feed on the bottom.
Just past the second bar or in water that deep.
Not picky about lures or bait.
Nice and cool at night, a real blast.

Sooshs it's dark out, I'll leave the light on.

I've never targeted them deep so that's gonna be new to me , I've always had the people in the boat shark fishing while I was standing on the console with binoculars looking for them rolling
