Just talked to the guy. They are in a green Haynie, stuck behind Pointe West on the Galveston side. If anyone can help, please give him a call.

Man oh man, I so know about getting stuck in that area, it is so tempting to 'take a shortcut' (did I say been there done that?). But you all have marked the real way around there so well. Hope someone helps out and that the tides rise to give them more water to float out towards the intracoastal. Being in NY State, I can not help but only watch.

High tide didn't help them...SW wind probablly didn't help with the water level either.

I have found So Many Sandbars @ the SLP its not even funny! I have seen so many people get stuck you just have to get out of the boat & pull it to the Channel. ALWAYS be careful if you are fishing a Outgoing Tide! I have heard of people getting stuck till the next day because there was not Incoming tide till the next day! I hope He got Out OK!

I just saw this a little while ago. Does anybody know if he tried to call the Gulf Coast Rescue Squad? 979-864-2392 It's a free service, they just take donations.
