You would need to buy a floating cabin permit from someone ... from what I here a bunch of the permits that were used for the cabins in baffin might be coming up, as a bunch of those cabins have been notified that they are in voliation due to certian regs.

You cannot buy a permit anymore from the state.

If it has no motor, it is considered a floating cabin and not a house boat

So if its a floating cabin, permit thats really unavailable from state,or install baby kicker motor get Tx Numbers and call it House Boat move it once in awhile and then your in buisness,It can be done! you dont wanna leave it too long or in an isolated place as mayhem happens, I would say never leave it in Halls bayou as there are already a bakers dozen sunkin in there now!!

A friend of mine left a big pontoon boat in the water for 3 years ... it was in the channel behind his house. It grew a massive crop of oysters about 4-5 inches long each. But that'll work if you can find cheap or free rent. Happee oystering!

I see another use "Coe's Totally Nude Entertainment Bar and Grill". serve beer (free) but the entry fee is $100/p.p., sell bait, sell ice and sell entertainment. I wanna be the Personnel Director and help interview the Talent!!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

This is my preference for a house boat:

When I was 8 or 9 years old I went with my parents and elder sister on a holiday to Kashmir. I remember some of it, specially sliding down ...

Buy yourself an acre of land out there. Winch that sucker up on the land and be done with it.

I had some prime land available at one time... I'll try & upload it... FishWestEnd should go in & buy the place and turn it into a Chocolate Bay Head Quarters.
