  • Henrique's Care Package Arrived!

Henrique's care package from FWE arrived here yesterday. Unfortunately, Henrique is not on the island right now - he is on St. Thomas getting his passport renewed. He should be back here Friday. We are leaving Friday afternoon, but I hope to get some pics of him with his box of goodies before we leave.

His grandmother opened the box and said "Lord! Dat boy not going to need nothing else for fishing til he fifty years old!"

Sincere thanks from all of you - and I will do my best to get some pics.

              Sorry Rollo.

I kept is "close to home" so I wouldn't be running all over the place for donations.

I had a little friend Enrique in a small village near Taxco, Guerrero. I met him when he was about 8 and his little brother Domingo was 5. They were great kids and I always brought them stuff when I went down. Enrique was killed when he was 17 in a accident hitching a ride on a Corona truck. Domingo was killed around 30 in the drug war
