Was a crazy morning, thanks dbarham & joey for all the help this morning getting the right people contacted, Were glad story turned out the way it did, ( could have been soo much worse ) (not to mention lucky he got his rig back) not many of us out there with respect anymore... the guy was a little thick for leaving his yak where the tide could come up on it but i guess bad things happen to the best of us...Originally posted by dbarham View Post

Good news for sure.....
About 15 years ago I was camping at the Pass and wasnt paying attention to the tides. The next morning when I woke up the tides dropped about 2'. Was I suprised to wake up and find my Kenner sitting high and dry. I was planning on going home that morning but had to spend an extra 8 hours waiting on the tides to move back in. My dad came out with his Gulf Coast and a lot of extra rope.

yall should have kept the stuff and mailed his wallet back to him. the idiot thought someone stole his yak and didnt call the police,would have saved everybody alot of trouble if he had reported it.the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
