Was the yak floating in the bay or up against a shoreline? I saw a yak once on the north shoreline of Christmas up in the grass full of gear & nobody around, found the angler a few hundred yards away later fishing back to his yak, I asked if it was his & he told me it was.

This is strange. Back in my bullet proof years I wouldn't hesitate to wade in by myself actually preferred it. Not any more. Hope everything comes out alright.
