  • NE wind...water condition report needed for lower west bay

Where'd this NE wind come from? They been calling for calm SE all week???

Anyway planning on fishing the incoming in the morning but was looking for an accurate water condition report from anyone whos been out yesterday or today. Has the NE wind blowing straight down West bay got the water clarity all screwed up? Or is it ok looking for tomorrow morning?

    Thanks in advance. Tight lines.

Better bring the air boat I doubt any water will be left in the bay with this powerful system

It should be okay... light winds.

Me too... I'd love to have a freak low tide.

Water is a bit murky, but not choco milk. I'm in Titlum-Tatlum. LOT of seaweed at the Pass last night in huge rafts thick enough to get me off plane. Wind is straight out of the east right now, about 10-12 MPH.

Intellicast has been forecasting east winds today and tomorrow for over a week now.

Any wind from the north and east messes up the fishing down here on SPI, and that's what we've had for a day and by Sunday we'll get the SE Trades back again here ... the lucky wind ... some blue water in spots. A slight change in wind direction from the SE can cause all fishing to stop in a heartbeat. I was fishing a few days ago and the wind backed to the east and the fish & bait disappeared. That night, seaweed and jellyfish came in on the tide.
