Seaweed attacks!

Man, I knew the onshore wind the last few days would bring some seaweed, but I has NO idea it would be the mother load! Giant rafts of weed came over night and are still coming in.
The Coast Guard and a Hazmat crew were at our beach and hour ago, removing a clear 10-15 gallon poly container that came in with the seaweed. Looked like a water storage container to me.

Like I said in an earlier post...stuff was thick out about 40 - 50 mile mark, but we hit little spots starting 10 miles out of the Surfside Jetty. North wind tomorrow might clean it back up some, then look at Wednesday to the weekend for another saladfest!

Drug up a few 15#ers and don't think it didn't cross my mind, but "NO" for the record...I DID NOT poach any snappas! Caught a few JC's on light tackle that gave me a workout!
