After coming from off shore my buddy and I stopped at Boudreaux's on the bayou. We ate then jumped back on the boat headed back to pirates. We ran through the old icw and made our turn in. It was a high tide, 10 pm and sea fog rolled in. Using gps and a q beam we slowly came in (20mph). Bailey my buddy on the spot says I think we need to be left. Just then we launch out of the water over a geo tube and are now in the state park. We jack the motor up and jack plate and putt putt back into lake como no damage just some bruises

This past Saturday we are nailing the reds right at dark and stay for a little night fishing. Started to head in and realized I forgot the spotlight at home, but with the full moon no problem. Needless to say the clouds rolled in and had to use GPS to get in after bumping a few reefs.

The next night we have the spot light and are running in, but i can see because the moon is out and my (drunk) buddy won't stop using the dang light and it is blinding me. By the way it was his light. So after the 100th time of telling him to stop I grab it and throw it in the air and say "Well now I don't have to worry about it". You should have seen his face. It was all good fun but now I have to buy a new spotlight... The look on his face was worth the toss.

As far as falling out I have come close, but the GC has tossed my brother twice while drifting (dunno) and one buddy while anchored (really dunno).

      Stay safe out there.

We all have walked off and hit the invisible pier or the extra foot of boat that's just not there. The most memorable was walking off a pier that i had walked hundreds of times over the years. The funniest thing is to pull up to a wade spot and watch as the victims jump out and go completely under.

In the driveway at home after coming in, I threw my leg over the side of the boat to place my foot on the fender to get out of the boat. My foot was wet and slipped off the fender and I busted my buddies on the side of the boat. My foot never hit the ground and I rolled out and flopped flat on my back in the driveway. After I figure out what just happened, the wife says "what are you looking at,(she didn't see what happened and thought I was just on the ground looking under the trailer) do you have a problem with the trailer?" "Nope" I replied, "it's fixed now." I have skid tape now on the fenders and more to be added.

No, but I have tossed my anchor in and forgot to clip the rope to it. I looked back at my wife and all she said was "smooth move Einstein" Something good came from iot though, I perfected my drifting technique.
