You can argue it the other way as well. Crappy tires on the front = blowout on a drive wheel = loss of control.

Big story here-- my money, my car, my tires, put em where the hell I tell you.
    Shut up and FISH!!

The reality is that there's no bleeping way they could evaluate his tires over the phone. He could have had 4 new tires put on the car in the morning before he called and they just made the stupid assumption that ibtsoom was was a moron. It's just one more stupid corporate policy. Try to justify it all you like.

Our govt. makes the assumption that we are morons, and therefore they need to decide where our money goes. Same issue.

Yep, I just finished up a with a bad business dealing with them myself. It's doubtful I'll ever conduct tire business there again.

I agree, If it's YOUR money then put the tires where YOU want them... Great way to sell 4 tires is when somebody is just looking to buy 2 and you have "recommendations" and a "policy".

1st of all I agree with you about lawyers and our legal system, we need tort reform. 2nd corporations should make money but, the executive pays are way out of line. Rex Tillerson CEO of ExxonMobil made $34M last year (I knew him back in the 80's and he is not THAT smart). CEO salaries have increased over 700% over the last 20 years and the average workers salary has increased less than 6%. Look at the BOD of any corporation if is nothing but the good old boy system where thay sit on each others boards and give each other ridiculous salaries. And the profits are not passed on to shareholders or employees, I have ExxonMobil stock (and others) and my dividends have not increased in years.
