No, this is their original location up here in Houston. They recently moved into the old Academy building. It's bigger than the store at Fuqua and it's fully stocked!

That salesman in the black outfit looks like he is awfully quiet, never smiles and I bet he just stands in one spot all day!!! I bet he's an Obama supporter.

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

They carry things that Academy does not. Unless you just fell off the tomato truck they are one of the better places locally to grab hard to find items or specific tools, line & other assorted lures. Academy can't even compare. I've seen some Academy's without a saltwater section here in Houston. Also, when you walk into FTU you are going to get helped by someone that is knowledgeable & has spent some time on the water with the product you are inquiring about.

I've never had a single bad dealing with FTU at the Houston location. I don't frequent the Fuqua location often so I have grown up knowing these guys that work over here. Great personality & very knowledgeable staff here at the Houston store.

FTU is the best fishing supply store within miles. I make a monthly trip to Fuqua to replenish my stock of soft plastics and mono, etc. Their prices as far as I can tell are not that much higher than Academy and their inventiory is superior for what i'm looking for.
