Epilogue:
Coors Light tastes darn good when really cold, but they are hard to get when your boat has drifted away. Talons at least have an alarm so when you try to start boat while the Talon is down, it goes "beep beep beep"-I call it the Coors Light Alarm. For some folks it should have a voice that says "Hey Dumbazz, your pole is down.""Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Yar!!!! Sounds like a salvage operation lol.Originally posted by Steve_A View PostBe carefull using your power pole as an anchoring device while wading, especially in windy conditions. We found a 23' Shoalwater cat drifting in the Chocolate Bay channel and it's owner waving frantically at us from 300 yards away.

I have lost mine once, OK I have lost mine twice. I use my power pole and remote trolling motor. Works great. But my problem has always been anticipating the wind. The times I lost mine the wind would pick up and waves would get higher until she floated to deeper water. Sucks watching your boat float past you and you can't get it. Been over a year since last time. Hopefully I am over that, or I am over due?
