            Thats a sewer treatment at second street,the tank that ruptured was in the rural area behind the bayou cemetary! on Highlands Bayou

                    Those things will catch & hold water I have a bag full of the kind that shed water & soak oil, Ill get ya a few for your bayou contamination watch. Remind me at the cook off!

                      I would not worry too much about it. I grew up on that bayou not far from where the oil spill occured. Fish, crabbed, swam my entire chilhood in that bayou and I don't glow in the dark. The old superfund site does not have any surface runoff to worry about. Now if you were drinking well water from that area thats a different story. The ditch you are refering to if thats what you would call it would have no effect on the bayou because what contiments that are still there are well below ground.
