Recently bought a Lowrance HDS-5 GPS and am considering upgrading the charts. Anyone have input on the Navionics Gold 2D charts vs the Platinum 3D charts. What about the Lowrance Nautic Insight HD East charts. I fish the Galveston Bay complex primarily.

I have the Navionics Platinum + there based old older data since NOAA hasn't had a major update in years. I lot of things are close but still a lot of places like the geotubes in west bay are not on the chart.
