If I am going solo, you are welcome to tag along. I have a little 16' flatbottom I use for transportation when wading or for chasing reds in the back lakes. I only fish during the week though.

You're welcome to come out to the camp. I'm not much of a trout chaser, but we do pretty well off the dock at night. The biggest ones caught there in the last 2 years were a 26 and two 25s. I even caught a tarpon a little over a year ago. I thought I had a state record trout. 007 goes out all the time in Bastrop Bay especially.

Just look for my invites. We can pick you up at the SLP ramp. We have rules though. You must bring beer and you must be prepared to pick up a hammer if necessary .

I'd be interested in a fishing pardner, especially one that is willing to split the expenses. Not much fun in fishing solo. I've got a 22' boat and am wanting to learn West Bay and Bastrop Bay. I like to wade as well while throwing arties.

Don't be scared off about the hammer part. I was out there and at night, I must have caught about 20 Specs and 4 being keepers on live shrimp.

There were plenty caught this weekend too.
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

I'll really start concentrating on Big Trout for the star tourney, fishing the bay's and the surf...let me know I'm going this week....
