It was tough!!!! Saturday we had a northeast wind blowing an average of 25 knots. I think we were the only team crazy enough to fish the south shoreline in that crap lol. Saturday Dpop hit a Trout just under 6 lbs and I stuck an 18" Trout on a Corky. Dpop bad 2 more 4 to 5 lb Trout crash his spook but both missed the bait and I had 2 hits but no hook-ups. Those 4 fish probably cost us a championship win. Sunday the win gave us a break but the bite was still tough. We had a feed between 8am and 9am where we caught 20 fish easy. Our 3 best fish went I think 13.57 which was the 2nd heaviest stringer for Sunday. Haven and Renteria took 1st for the championship. I think we ended 5th for the championship and 3rd for team of year. It's been a tough year for us. Crazy ***** weather and some missed opportunities has been painful. Just got to put this one behind us and get ready for the Specktacular this Saturday. Congrats to all who even caught fish this past weekend because it was tough. Congrats to all the winners as the Galveston Trout Series is over. Congrats to everyone.
