  • Top Water

I have not been a big top water guy in the past, but I am wanting to change that a bit and try my luck at some top waters. I have not read too many reports on top water baits on here, so I am curious to know what are some decent top waters you like to throw?

Thanks to Capt. Greg Francis I'd start here:

Can't go wrong with the spook jrs! The easiest topwater to work IMO. For something bigger, I go with the TTF Flush. But the article above will answer most of your questions. I hope you find them this year and we can officially welcome you to the addiction!

Got a corky and a skitterwalk I'll trade you for a couple more boxes of caramel delights, Bruce. Me and cuddles done went through our inventory and those damn things are addictive as a lortab for a hang nail. Wanna deal?

Big spooks don't spin out of control, they cast like a bullet into the wind and they are far superior to skitterwalks.

Love big spooks, they'll wear ya out tho, If I had only one topwater it would be a pink skitterwalk

I'm with Moe & GSG: Bone SS jr. is my favorite. I throw a bunch of others, but that's my confidence lure.

I disagree. I found it to be a yawning experience compared to 2 at a time on a tandem rig. But that's what makes the world go 'round.
