Anyone been to the pass lately and know how the mosquitos are? I am planning on spending the night on the beach on Thursday and getting up to wade the bayside on Friday morning.
Thanks
I thought it was much better this past weekend than it had been following the big rains. Heck, I didn't even have to use any OFF this past weekend, but the wind was blowing pretty good. I got 1 recorded bite at the ramp.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
Let me tell you... they are so bad I pulled right up to that small cove but the wading area and they met me in the boat! It wasn't until I got out a bit that I shook their trail. And the biting flies!!! Man they hurt.
We need a bat colony on the island to take cae of those pesky mosquitos
Spray deep woods on at night, but before you go fishing us Listerine(yes the mouthwash). It does not last as long, but you don't have to worry about the scent getting on your lures(or killing your bait if you fish like chip). I didn't believe it at first, but I have used it twice and it works. I put it in a spray bottle and use it all the time now.
