Heck I wish the NFL would have playoff football games scheduled for 7:00 am that would keep a lot of boats off the water, oh wait Big Screen Boat TV's would be all the rage.

              Cold weather sucks!!!

This is exactly the type of winter I love! Year round boating! If you like cold weather, move further north. I'm thinking further south would be better for me.

Didn't Clayton Williams have something intelligent to state about the weather while running for Gov?

....not water covering the roads...just wet roads!!

Me either. I love fishing in the cold during the winter. With the warm weather traffic on the water has been higher than normal for this time of year.

Clayton had a habit of letting his mouth overload his a#$, but he probably said that if you didnt like texas weather you should stick around a few minutes as it was likely goin to change soon!

after this weekend is over, if it don't get cold there will be a lot more people on the water fishing with duck hunting coming to a close. I also don't care for the cold. 60 is about as cold as I like for it to get. I'm tropical.

I am a total cold weather weenie and I can't tolerate it. I also can't handle red tide, which about knocked me in the *** and gave me a lung problem this fall. I can't wait until it warms a bit and we get this ultra-clear water out of the way. Down south we don't get any fishing pressure until amateur weekend opens on Memorial Day. March, April, and May are usually good months.
