At least it will make for a fine haul of perfect-bait size for all the croaker soakers!

I agree ,but at least we had a pretty good flounder run this year , compared to severl years back , croakers and sand trt gotta eat too!Originally posted by Milkjug View PostNot supposed to be good for it. All the croakers, sandies, and other small fish eat more of the spawn. I don't think it will be too bad, the population was really good last year.
I just hope the Summer isn't too ridiculously hot.

If you want cold, become a Yankee. This winter has been awesome thus far.

At least we got a little rain out of the deal. All the new weeds sprouting up in my lawn look nice.

The colder the better for me. Winters the last several years have been fantastic. This Winter sucks.

I am a total cold weather weenie and I can't tolerate it. I also can't handle red tide, which about knocked me in the *** and gave me a lung problem this fall. I can't wait until it warms a bit and we get this ultra-clear water out of the way. Down south we don't get any fishing pressure until amateur weekend opens on Memorial Day. March, April, and May are usually good months.

after this weekend is over, if it don't get cold there will be a lot more people on the water fishing with duck hunting coming to a close. I also don't care for the cold. 60 is about as cold as I like for it to get. I'm tropical.

Clayton had a habit of letting his mouth overload his a#$, but he probably said that if you didnt like texas weather you should stick around a few minutes as it was likely goin to change soon!

Me either. I love fishing in the cold during the winter. With the warm weather traffic on the water has been higher than normal for this time of year.
