Alligators

Was talkin to Mr Hummel (owner of Hummel's in Pirates) and he said that he heard a bunch of alligators live in that big pond just West of him. Anyone hear that?

Never seen one there. I would call that area a detention pond. Not even sure why they dug it out in the first place. Unless its for flood control.

They dug it because they were supposed to develop houses around it. That fell through and nothing ever happened. The land it for sale now. I think it's about 45 acres or so

Funny yesterday there were some folks that pulled out from that pond area.

A previous owner of Pirate's dug that pit and sold sand to do dirt work/build up the property for construction of Home Depot and Target area. It's pretty funny actually. The buyers put some money down on the place, dig up 45 acres of it, sell it and then default!
