Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and hope to learn/share a lot about fishing west bay. I have lived in League City most of my life. I've always had a boat, but just dabbled in fishing Clear Creek and the Kemah/Seabrook area. I'm now venturing into west bay and have found the fishing to be very good there. I don't have a shallow running boat, so deeper holes are what I'm looking for. I hope to spend this winter learning west bay.

Well, I'm always looking for deep holes too! Sometimes you get fishy smelling when you spend time there.

Thanks, I already fish those places. In my pic album, the shark was caught on the north side of pelican island. The big redfish are from the jetties. I know I won't be able to go in the 'shallows', but aren't there 3' deep areas that are productive in west bay?"I love this country, it's the government I'm afraid of!"
