I am thinking of heading down to West Bay on the 21-23rd. Will there be enough water to launch my little boat out of Sea Isle? Thanks

You can check the tides in advance, but as far as fronts goes its best to wait a bit. Forecast is not as accurate in the long term.

You could always hope for someone with a key to open the Sea Isle ramp. You could put in at Jamaica Beach and not have that issue.

What Robalo said. I've launched me 17' bluewave when it was extremely low at JAmaica Beach.

If you launch at JB follow the channel out to the bay. I cut to the right and follow the south shoreline but on a really low tide it can be very sketchy lol.

We have a key. Do you think it will be adequate?

How's it looking for those of you who are down there right now? Winds, tides?

Haven't looked at the water, but the wind is gonna pick up from the NW later, and likely drop the tide low.

Looks pretty good right now, even with the north wind.

Water levels here at Blockade Runners have been well above normal for Winter. With a moderate North wind, they will drop, but not too much. Come on out, the water is here.

Sitting at Fat Boys right now and it's about 2 to 2 1/2 feet below normal. Pretty low but fishable. Just use caution.
