I'd rather tie a fisherman's knot.

I'm with Mike, them new fangled things seem to always fail at the worst time. A good knot has never let me down and I don't have to worry about ordering them or paying for them as knots be cheap.

Clips? No thanks....

I'm gonna keep tying directly to the line, because i don't trust the clips to hold a big fish when the time comes. I've heard countless horror stories from guys using clips from various companies about them failing at the most crucial of times.

I don't want to be another one of those guys....

depends on what brand you buy.. the clips the browns sell are just like every other product the sell, quality.. norton's for example are a pos.. for me they changing lures easier since i yak and wade alot, especially changing lures in the surf..

I use the norton's myself, but I also like the quickswirl. I have never tried the ones that Brown's sells.
