  • GTTS Results for Nov 19th Coastline Marine Classic

    Results are in from Saturdays event with some really good stringers coming to the scales, 25 teams competed for over 6ks in prize money. Saturday started off with near perfect conditions light winds, warming temps, overcast, and falling tides a perfect recipe for big trout in the month of November. Anglers reported steady action all morining with the bigger bite coming in the mid morining on a variety of lures from topwater, tails and suspended baits. Walking away with the victory and over 3300 dollars in prize money was the team of Shawn Hebert and Dana Bailey with a healthy sack of 16.92 lbs with there big trout weighing in at 5.7lbs. A close second place finish (and current TOY leaders ) was the team of Aaron Stilwagon and Stevie Anderson with 16.40 with a big trout coming in a 5.92lbs. In third place with a weight of 15.50 was a solo angler Vince Augustine and winning big trout for the tournament at 6.63. Rounding out the top five was John Havens and Erik Renteria ( 2010's TOY ) with the weight of 14.69 and Richard Bunch and Blake Sartor with 14.67. Congrats to the top five for coming in with some really nice fish and a big thanks to all the anglers that participated in Saturdays event.

    We want to thanks everyone that came out and supported all these anglers on Saturday we hope to see all of you again in December. Also a reminder the December Toy Drive for the Childerens Center in Galveston is coming up. Any toy items to help out the folks over there for Xmas will be greatly appreciated. Also a big thanks to Mr. Coe Parker for his contributions to our event and donations for the toy drive,,,,,,, again big thanks Coe!!!!!!!!

          Great job. I wish I could have stayed for the weigh in I was running late for the U of H Game.
