Wildfire threat isn't over..

here's the view from the bridge over Bastrop Bayou. Just a few minutes ago. The Lakanookie Lodge just a little to the right, not quite in the picture. I'm watchin' it closely.

It's dry, the winds are right & the air is dry perfect for wildfires... Only relief is the humidity but that went away with the front. South winds should return soon.

They did a big prescribed burn at our local federal wildlife area to get rid of the grass & brush (Laguna Atascosa), and people called 911 for 30 miles around even though it was in the newspaper, lol. Hope it's that because you got a lot of dead pines due to the borer bug. If it's a wildfire, it should be on the Texas Forestry Service website - I ain't checked.
