good afternoon to all.
talked to coe last night and hope that i helped direct him to a less expensive t shirt person, i also offered to help him in the purchase of the next batch of t shirts as well.
now i have an idea that i hope you will think is a good one, i talked with coe and recieved his permission to do this , as you all know it takes cash to keep the site running, and it being fairley new it's a bit of a struggle so i have a couple ideas the first idea is that any one that orders a billystix texas t shirt or cap from me at my regular price $15.00 i will give coe $3.00 on each item now i know it's not much but then i have to pay for the cap and the t shirt as well, so after a bit it might make a difference.
now another thing starting this month and each month thereafter or until it just dies i will offer up a custom billystix rod built in red-white-blue-with titanium guides and the westend sticker for my normal retail price of $250 -i will pay ship on this rod, now whats the big deal you ask first of all the rod will be first class all the way, a one of a kind 2nd it will have this inscription on it""West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe! "" now there will be no others with this inscription on it until the next month's rod, now once again you ask "still what's the big deal"" i will write coe a check from that rod sale and each rod sale like it thereafter for $175 to help the site grow.
now this is subject to cancellation due to several factors but i would like to give it a try.
so you as the customer will once again get a first class custom billystix spiral or spin and know that most of your funds are going back into the site.
now any one on this message board that orders a custom billystix rod and has the westend logo placed on his rod "coe will recieve from billystix" an additional 5% of that sale.
ok immmmmmm done or until i come up with some other hairbrain idea
i truly want your feed back on this i dont care if you kick me to the ground, i still want to hear what you have to say.

I am seriously considering getting one of these rods Billy.... The rods I'm using now are nice, but the butts are a bit long for comfortable kayak fishing.

the proper way to order and the only way to order

i dont want to come on to strong on this but!!!!!! i hate e mails and i simply can not build rods with e mails now to order a t shirt or cap that's a bit different just send me your size on the shirt by e mail and i will let you know how much the shirt or shirt's are because the postage will vary, i might also be low on your t shirt size but i am going to order more.
now on the rod orders it is impertive that you call me because there are things that you and i need to discuss before i can build "example butt lenghth" for the yakers what type guides titanium or regular your rod colors , what inscriptions you want, rod lenghth, rod action so on and so forth.
now about the g lomis blank how in the world would a rod builder know how 26000 different rod brands of blanks differ from oneanother, he want, he might tell you that he does but just let me say this i have been building for over 4o years and you can go to any sporting goods store and pick up 6 different med action rods and not one will even come close to the action of the others, all 6 will perform in a totally different manner, so if a builder tells you his blank dah-dah-dah you best git in your truck and just go to wally world
here at billystix custom rods i only tell you what i know because i might have to face you again one day and i would like for it to this so the truth is always the best.

All I've been using for the last 5+ years are Sprial Stix. After the first cast I liked them, but after that first fish I was hooked!

Billy, I'm still your #1 fan, just wish I could afford more rods........

BTW when I say afford it isn't always a money issue, momma has always thought I have too many. She is of the mind set that a guy should only need one rod an reel. You can only fish with one at a time right..........
Well she has easied up a little over the years and I can slip about one good setup in a year, two if I'm a really good boy.

Folks Billy's Trout rods aren't just pretty they are tough! They will fight and wipe the meanest ugliest fish in the water!

Well like my grand dad once said to a fellar the rod to he!! Is paved wit good intions so i guess my offer was just so much wind but i have a little texan in me i am a bit hard headed so i want give up just yet.
