Heard a good fish story

I heard a good fish story today at the plant- This is prefaced by saying the guy telling the story isn't a big time fisherman, just a dude who wanted to get out of the house for a few hours.... I'll tell it in hippie speak for him....
Dude, I went to Clear Lake park and was fishing from the rocks and I had a (soft plastic, I don't know what he called it) and I was fishing and watching these dudes trying to back a boat in the water. I was reeling in and I saw this butterfly on the water, right by the rocks Dude, he was flapping his wings, and then his wings stuck together and he fell over to the side Dude, I thought he was drowning. I was reel almost all the way in, so I thought I could help him and used my pole to help him on the rocks, I was trying to guide the rod tip & see if he would hold on and while I was pushing the rod tip at him my pole bent over in half ! Dude I reached for my net and I caught a flounder ! I took him off and put him in the icechest Dude, and then I went back and saved the butterfly and got him to the rocks. Then i thought about the flounder and started jigging right by the rocks and caught 2 more!

Good story, I thought it was good instincts to recognize a pattern☺

LMAO! But he ate the flounder and saved the butterfly. I think that is okay in hippie world.. if he poops on the compost, feeds the soil to make the weed grow more buds.. or something like that...

LOL, we were out trolling about 45 miles off SPI and here comes this little tweetie bird, dude! It was on the rigger so I tried to get him inside the boat and rest for a while. Dude, that bird was tired! So dude, like I get some water and fix the birdie all up.

The captain looks back and starts screamin' at poor ole me. "Your starboard outside rigger is fouled, you got a peanut Mahi-Mahi on the port corner, and holy ***, your just missed a knock-down from what looked like a white marlin! And here you are playin' with a dang bird! Get with it you hippie!"
