This is the message you want to get back from any retailer. I had a backup pair of the Blackfoot waders that were 2 years old leaking a little around the crotch. So you know, these are the bottom line of Simms waders, maybe cost $138. I sent them back for repair and got this in an email today.
"Thank you for using the Simms Online Repair Center. Our Repair Technicians have determined that the product that you returned for evaluation is not repairable. This item will be replaced under warranty."
I also got my trolling motor repaired while I waited an hour. It took a new piece in the handle that had to be modified to fit, a new switch, and the shaft cut down 3" because the hole for the bolt was wallowed out and split the end.
$85. hr, labor + parts = $120. That's service right there too.
