  • Post your favorite beer!

So...I'm on a binge where I'm trying new types of beers every weekend...need your opinions!

So, what's your favorite beer (or any drink even non alcoholic) you've ever had or tried? If you can make it post the recipe or the place you got it for us on the board!

    Cheers!

PS - I'll start. Mine has to be Ziegenbock Oktoberfest special beer OR a simple blue moon with an orange! You can buy it at wal-mart. A close second is a tie between hefeweizen w/lemon slices or Fosters!!
I set my hook like I am fishing for tuna even if I am fishing for trout. Call me tuna Joe!

Shiner is good. How about some fat tire? Kroger has it.

Funny a friend made me try that the other day...loving it but it's a pretty strong dark beer for most - I love it though.

              Paulaner.
OK, you've got to remember that I work for a beer distributor. I grew up drinking Shiner, Belhaven and Stingo. But I just had my first Paulaner recently. It's the best all around beer I've ever tasted. One of the first things that hits you is the mouth feel. It doesn't feel like water in your mouth, it feels like BEER! The taste, nose and finish are delightful. It's not a real challenging beverage, but it's the best thing I've consumed in years!

                    Pearl in a can.

No, seriously . . . It's gotta be between a fresh Guinness at St. James Gate or Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA.

Due to availability and lack of a plane ticket to Ireland each weekend, I usually go for the Torpedo. I like it when I can almost chew the hops.

Hard to beat a free COLD beer!

Have you tried Rolling Rock, LandShark, or Killians Irish Red? Not bad, but it's hard to beat a Shiner on tap! I'll look for the Paulaner the next time I need to make groceries......

I might joke around with Sandy being a Nancy...but when it comes to beer, or ale.....that boy likes some thick dark manly man stuff!

First time I ever had Rolling Rock...I was 16 on Spring Break in Ft Lauderdale...I met an 18 year old girl from Ohio that turned me onto the stuff. All I can say is, I haven't had a bottle of it since that tasted near as good as the ones she poured down my throat!
