The best beer I ever had was my last one, labor Day 2001. Before that my favorite beer was vodka!

I'm glad to see that many actually on this board have some refined taste and not trying to promote the domestic swill made by Bud, Miller, Coors and others.

As a Beer "connoisseur" (or beer snob as some of my friends call me, hey I grew up in Germany) in my travels having sampled beers from all around the world the beer I would want with my last meal is Andechser Doppelbock made at the Kloster Andechs on the Ammersee just outside of Munich. 2 liters of it and you will be crawling out, I speak from experience and have video to prove it. lol

Yep, nothing worse than an underhopped American mass produced swill. I can't even look at a Coors Light. I'll drink almost anything that's cold, especially in the summer time. But Coors is just too much like ripple champagne. I'll actually choose not to drink a beer if there's nothing but CL. I never touch anything harder than wine.

Coachlaw doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, he prefers to drink Dos Equis!

Colorado Kolsch - Steamworks Brewing, Durango, CO

It's available at Spec's from time to time but you have to watch it. They tend to stock their Steam Engine Lager. It's good too but I prefer the Kolsch. Close second would be Modus Hoperandi IPA.

What am I drinking now......Bud Light.

I like anything Shiner brews (especially 102), and some of the St Arnold brews.
                              And the imported Irish Smithwicks.
                              I also brew my own.

This is a recipe called Flat Tyre (DeFalco's) an English Ale.

I just started drinking my latest batch of Flat Tyre. I do prefer Fuggle (almost same as Willamette) hops, cause they are not as hoppy.

I also used to brew my own while I was living in Saudi, many, many years ago.
