I have a 6'6" all star moderate medium, that about an 1" of the tip broke off. So I was wondering if I could put a tip at the end and fishing worn it. Oi

Heat the old tip base with a lighter and pull off the old tip (use a glove) That should fit, but you may have to sand it slightly. Test fit then heat the tip again and shove it back on. Sometimes you have to use a drop of hot glue."GET OFF MY REEF!"

Then you broke off more than an inch. If the close guides bother you, take the whole thing to Serious Tackle in LaMarque and they'll move the second eye a little and replace the tip for about $10!Originally posted by Gsegovia View PostIf I do this the tip abd the guide below will be about an 1" apart."GET OFF MY REEF!"
