Just got out of school. Decided I only stand to lose a few pieces of scrap wood if I don't head out there. Wind is whippin' here in Angleton. Going to head down to the meetin' shortly. Gonna be weird not pullin' da boat.

Sandy begged me to sing, but I left them wanting.

Karaoke is, along with Pearl Harbor one of the 2 reasons that I still look upon the Isles of Japan with suspicion.

Karaoke sucketh. If music be the food of love, as Shakespeare said, then Karaoke is the darkside, the food of hate.

I've been to some meetings at Hooters that had fewer attendees. Especially with the sinister weather, I was really impressed with the turnout.

I enjoyed the Karaoke for one thing: everytime two tweenies would squeal out a Dixie Chicks tune, I got to see Sandy roll his eyes. Sandy puts his whole being into the roll.

Why can't the DJ just play the songs by the people who sang them well in the first place? Dixie Chicks???????? They committed carreer suicide with their liberal stupidity. Then I go to the Sand Bar and hear that crap? There should be a list of banned artists or something.
