Went down the BWH this weekend and only where they are working do you have to go on the beach. I hate that stupid toll booth.
I loved it when a drunk took one for the team a few years ago and that thing was down for a spring/summer. It sure was nice during spring break to no have to pay those guys.

It goes in their pocket-how many times have they short-changed you? I've been twice-only when you give a $10 bill or more-they give back all in $1 bills and usually shorted. No receipts. Oops, gotta quit complaining since I want that job after I retire from oil bizness. I think I'll make more $ doing the "one for me and one for the county" deal than I do/have in oil. Blue water hwy is still under a lot of construction.
During the weekend there were several stretches that were still under construction but you could drive them.
Once the work crews get back you will still have to drive along the beach.
That long stretch by Access#5/cell tower/Key Largo has only an oil coating. Its not been paved but it is open.
Between there and the condo are where you'll have to drive the beach.
The two real bad spots just past the old Brite Lite store haven't had much done yet.West End Anglers - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.Comment
