  • Bass fishing spots

Anyone know anywhere on the SE side of town where some bass can be caught. I fished Sheldon lake last year a couple of times and caught a few up to 2 1/2lbs, and another place like that would suffice if I could find another place that I could get the boat in. I am not much of a bank fisherman unless I have to be.
    Thanks,
    sigpic

Have you tried some of the ponds over here by me right off the Beltway east of 45?
I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.

Do you know where Indpendence park is in Pearland?
There is a retention pond there kind of off to the side. I've been going a lot lately but I haven't gone the past couple weeks. Rarely do I get skunked there. I've caught a 5lb and 4lb before. There's some decent fish in there

I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.

What the heck is a bass? The last time I was in freshwater was taking a shower this morning (and yes I take showers)

                Xtreme,

Which pond? I live in Pearland. Which road is it off of?

                Thanks...

It's on the corner of John Lizer and Pearland Parkway. It's easiest to park your truck inside the park and walk down. Bring lots of weedless stuff because grass is bad sometimes. I've found that a pearl superfluke works best. Tight lines
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.
