        The Offspring, Seether, Nickleback

John Prine, Lucinda Williams, Shelby Lynne

        Dean Martin, Sinatra

For at the desk, I like 95.3 KHYI off the internet.

it all depends on how I'm thinking at the moment.

I'm partial to Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters.

I've been a headbanger from the get go....even from my old band days. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Armorded Saint, ect...ect... but I also love classic rock and the blues..RE: Stevie Ray, Pat Travers, Jeff healy(may both of them RIP) and Muddy Waters. I can't stand country except for the hotties..... and ya'll know who I'm talking about.

This actually happened.... ask Coach Law... I named 3 songs in a row at the camp before the Eagle even played them...we freaked out!!

Drinking music I like Kevin Fowler, Hank Williams Jr., George Strait, and alot of the older country. Alot of this new country is just garbage in my opinion. What the he!! is a Rascal Flat?????

In the gym alot of old Metallica, Anthrax, Limp Bizcut, Nickel Back, Linkenpark, and alot of 80's heavy stuff.

Tough question. No particular order: Petty, The Who, Stones, R.H.C. Peppers, Pumkins, Elvis, Rush, Led Zep., Dean Martin, Manhaeim Steamrollers, Boomtown Rats, Chicago, Marshall Tucker, Waylon, REO and many more.

First post from buddyollie and I really appreciate the information and entertainment you'all provide.

I like Robalo's taste in music, but would also include Little Feat, Jimmy Buffet, Bonnie Raitt, Sonny Landreth, Allman Brothers, Joe Ely, Johnny Winter, the Neville Brothers, Hank Williams (the old man), Hank Snow, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Ray Vaughn, heck even Lyle Lovett has a great band.

My favorite obscure bands were old guys from Austin who are now dead. Ken Threadgill was a master yodeller and C&W artist who let Janice Joplin play at his gas station joint. Bill Neeley was a master guitarist who Joe Ely used to jam with, and Bill used to work at the sewer plant and always started his show by saying "you might think this is **** but it's my bread and butter." Neither ever recorded much as I know. The Flatlanders (Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, and Jimmy Gilmore) used to potlick their haunting old Texas sounds.
