Night Wading Question

For those of you that wade under moonlit skies, what lures do you use. I'm considering wading Late wed. night early Thursday morning. I'm considering Glow/Chartreuse and Morning Glory/Charteuese paddle tails. Also black Spook Jrs. Your expertise is greatly appreciated!

on night wades from half to full moon, I have superspook jr's. bone and black. maybe a clear and on full moons, I'll use one of those that have the reflective sides. I also have good luck with the glow devil eyes. They glow the longest and brightest out of all glow lures. I've also used morning glory and plum. overnight wades are fun.

Moe I have alot of luck at night with or without the moonlit skies with amber/chart devil eyes 1/8 oz leadhead... There is nothing like a mess of hooks before sun up... Sorry the topwater action before daylight is not fer me... LOL I will switch over once it is light enough to see what is going on...

Many years ago, a tradition now lost, waders would go out a night for the flounder run on an incoming tide. This was always some kind of conditions good for flounder running into the shallows - I ain't no expert but sometimes a half dozen boats would show up. They would pull a tire tube with a lantern on it, which attracted the fish. I was a kid back then but it was quite the sight, all these fishermen with little lights around the bay, catching flatties as fast they could on worms and cut-bait. They'd holler to me to move the boat over so they could unload some fish onto the ice, get more bait, fix the lantern, maybe have a coke or a beer, and walk away into the quiet. It was considered way too dangerous for young'uns to do that, sharks and sinkholes. I always asked when it was time to go "lantern fishing" because it was quite a sight, and I got to fish off the boat too. Surprised nobody does that anymore.

Topwaters in black or dark colors.I prefer black.Soft plastics in morning glory or glow.Topwater is the bomb.
