The bass fishing is great up there. Take a bass assassin and put it around every tree there and you will catch some good fish. You might catch some chain pickeral with a spinnerbait.

oh my gosh, you are in probably the bestest place ever to catch tasty crappies, perch and the like. Just watch out for the turtles. Love that place, havent been there in too long. Write about your stay there.

                  Enjoy the scenery Coe!
I knew a fine lady that lived on lake Bistineau in a large camp house. Her name was Clyde Connell and she was in her mid-80's when we met her. She called me out of the blue when I had an exhibition at the Delagdo museum in New Orleans, and invited the Mrs and I to spend a week at her place.
                  Awesome spot she had.....just beautiful.
Here's some of her work and a picture. Her husband was the warden of a prison farm and never let her do her art. After he died she started her art career in her late 50's. http://www.google.com/search?q=clyde...Q&ved=0CCkQsAQ

I've never been to Caddo Lake. One day when I run out of saltwater fish to catch.

Wow Ken, that was very informative. Looked at her art that was on the web, what an amazing artist. Have three that I like very much personally, but all of her work is amazing in its own way. Some of her pictures are raw. But I like that. Has feeling.
