Is FWE Becoming the Next 2cool?

I like this board and everything, but the more stuff I read on here I realize how watered down this place is becoming.

Coe...we need to trim the fat off of this place. You can start with agduckhunter. But seriously, you should make people pass an online saltwater fishing test before they're allowed to join. Some of the stuff I read on here makes me dumber...and hey, I'm already an Aggie.

Thoughts?

I just don't want to come on here one day and see a 10 page thread on if the surf is right to catch trout in...in February. Or a discussion on if the fish I caught at the jetties is a tuna or a jack.

Has anyone else noticed this transformation, or is it just me?

Hopefully not, although I'm sure Coe would appreciate the huge increase of value in the site if it did.

If they want to ask questions, go ahead, that's what it is all about.

I learn from this site all the time....

I enjoy coming here since it's more fishing influenced. I guess with the winds not a lot of fishing has been happening lately.

This site was formed out of pure necessity. There was nothing available to us anglers that fished Galveston. I wanted everything in one central spot, reports, tide tables, weather information & people not afraid to meet others & take anglers out. We were all beginners once.

We volunteer our time for clean ups, trash pickups, charity events and benefits. We are active in the community & in most of the organizations that benefit the waters we call home.

We are a different caliber than "TOS" I think we have made that clear in our last few years.

What other site sponsors events, advertises in magazines, in fishing tournaments & actively supports its members by sponsoring their involvement in such events.

We have the finest group of anglers on here many like me are members of TOS, I think people are realizing what we have to offer & are excited to find a welcoming community of fishermen/women that routinely get together to share their love of the outdoors.

Oh, and BTW - there is no such thing as a stupid question. Don't be afraid to ask!

YESSIR !!! I really enjoy the way this site is and the people on it been to 2cool haven't been back nothin needs to change here in my opinion
