OK guys
I have searched the internet and searched all over this forum and I still dont know what dyed shrimp is. I read some crap about dyed ghost shrimp for steelhead fishing but the last steelhead I caught was in Alaska.

Normally I would just keep my mouth shut and not look like a dumb*ss but I gotta know what the story is on dyed shrimp. I dont mine you guys kicking me a little but do please shed some light. What is it, why do you use it, and how can I get some

It's actually just coming onto the saltwater seen....what u mentioned about is a fairly close concept but still different. It is sorta tricky to do to get it right. I'm always down for helping folks out an have had multiple posts on the way I do it....maybe others here can chime in an give u their secrets. It will def. be outlawed soon cuz it gives the fish no chance. Tight lines

It doesn't matter where I got it robalo.....the thing is I know how to use it!..........P.S. ( I have a home chemistry kit in my garage an I actually have been perfecting the art of filling earthworms with air to fish with) I found a hybrid earth worm that can take the saltwater. They make john Wayne look like a sissy they are so tough. I have figured out how much air to put in the worm to keep it drifting in different water columns. It's not as deadly as the nuclear neon shrimp but it works. Raleigh I'm having a workshop in a few weeks at JT's bar on how to correctly dye shrimp 101. I'll give you an invite cuz its a private course.

Dyed or not it's shrimp! It works. It has always worked....throw dyed live bait or gulp if you want. Heck, throw it with a popping cork.

I had one too-it blew up my trailer in Galena park-thank goodness it wasn't a double-wide and that all evidence was gone before the Galena Park PD showed or I'd be in the land of free room and board. Meth is easy to make, but volatile-whoops.
