I need some help! Lost my jack plate last week (stuck in lower position, relays click but nothing else). I've got about 20 irons in the fire and can't get to it myself. Who can tell me a good shop that won't keep my boat for weeks and fix it? I don't want to switch brands, first time I've had problems with it. I've got a short trip to go on and would like to have it done when I get back. I live in the Brazoria/Angleton area and a close shop would be nice. Tight lines to all.

I need a new actuator for mine, is has a really slow leak to it. I have had zero luck figuring anyhting out with CMC. Their website sucks, no dealers list, parts list or anything. It does have a good FAQ page that helps diagnose problems, but that is it.
Here you go, hope this helps just a little.

I know where mine is leaking from, I just need a new actuator, found some today online for $350! thats half the price of a brand new CMC Jack Plate! Oh well, I guess that is the piece that makes it what it is."For those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor that the protected will never know."

Not really sure who can get it out quick. I would just keep filling with fluid until you know you wont be fishing for awhile. It take about 2 mins to open and fill the reservoir. When you have some time that you wont be on the water, then drop it off at the shop. A week or two is gonna be common as we get closer to summer. Then it wont be uncommon to see 3 or maybe 4 weeks in, depending on the size of your shop.Originally posted by ichiban View PostI need some help!
