the brown stain that gets on your boat after years of being used in galveston bays, whats a good way to get that off ?? i found that using toilet bowl cleaner, yes toilet bowl cleaner, works great , but i was warned that something in it can eat the clear coat off the boat, any ideas would be greatly appreciated !!! just had the whole inside redone last year so i would likie the outside to look as good as the inside

We used some 3M stuff from West Marine worked good very strong stuff make sure you dilute or test an area... I usually wax the boat 2-3x a year and have never... NEVER had any further issues with slime or gunk it is kept in a sling over the water.

I use a hull cleaner that I get from West Marine. Its a acid works great. Its called ON & OFF Hull & Bottom cleaner

Get "The Works" from the dollar store. Its like a $1.50 a bottle. Same stuff as hull cleaner just cheaper. Wax hull after using or the brown stain will come right back.

i used to wax with the salt terminator two to three times a year then last year we went for a weekend trip and on the way in the trailer busted to peices and i forgot to wash it so thats why it got this way, thanks guys

That stuff will take the funk off alot of things..garbage cans, botes,etc...

robalo been using that stuff for years back in College,Crystal Pistol, Ricks, Colorado.....

You can try purple power from ur autozone i use it to clean rv s and stuff
