  • Birds working in West

For those of you that like chasing birds, I saw several flocks today. This was the first time this year I have seen birds working. Saw probably 10 different flocks from Alligator Head down towards Greens Cut. I stopped and worked one flock and instantly connected on a Gafftop. Made one more cast and caught a 10" monster Trout then left. There are probably some keepers down in the mix if you can weed through the snot balls and schoolie but birds are not for me. Just thought I would post up as I know a lot of people like chasing birds.

Only thing i ever catch under the birds are broken dreams.

Like going to a strip club, hoping for the best, and leaving with blue balls.

Sun. my buddy and his wife saw birds working outside of Jamacia Beach and caught quite a few 20 to 23 inch trout under them while the wind was blowing from south but when the wind changed directions the fish stopped biting.
