My daughter's school fundraiser BBQ is this weekend and we haven't been able to find anyone to deliver ice to Galveston. We need 300-400 lbs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

do what tiny said or contact the local FD to see if they have an ice maker. That's what my sons school does for their spring fundraiser. I load up my truck with 3 150qt and go drain the local FD's ice maker.

They are not sure what supply they will have this weekend, but they will if they can.
Another source down the way is Texas Party boats.

Thanks for all the help!
Last year we used Diamond Ice here on the island. They forgot they were supplying the ice and showed up just as the event was starting. Apparently they're no longer around. They weren't cheap, but with all the running around to get it set up, they were incredibly convenient. Sorry they aren't around any more.
BTW: Our event runs at the same time as the FWE crawfish boil. Crud!!! H-E- double hockey sticks!!
