          Caught this snake eel last aug. west of the causeway. 29 1/2 and 6.3 pounds...officially measured and weighed at a STAR check-in. Not even big enough to get into the star....I left my cut piggy perch behind that morning and tried a topwater for a change....I still catch bigger ones than this tho on cut piggies....Click image for larger version

            Spotted eel. I didn't know those existed in the Galveston bay complex.

              No...this is an elusive snake eel....and when you catch them they swim up to you with no fight then roll on their side...like a puppy....

                      Okay. I have narrowed it down to 6 selections... I am going to dwell over it today & announce the winner a bit later. Everyone is welcome to submit votes on this thread (just by posting) for the ones I have mentioned below, they are in NO particular order.
