I was trying to get around it and the further out I got from shore the worse it seemed to get. It was white capping away from the shore and the wind was howling. I pointed the bow back towards shore, tilted up and throtteled hard, it was a struggle to free myself and I will not run it again at night untill I full understand what this crap is.
Thanks for all the input, y'all.
There is a new mound of dredge material there that is exposed at times. I would certainly suggest anyone who plans to run the area in the night time to first run it in the day, or stay in the middle of the channel. More than a few things have changed around that area over the last year or so. There is also a new shallow area around Millers, between the bank and channel. Most of this came from the new pipeline they ran across the bay last year.

Its only going to get worse once the core starts redredging certain areas of the channel to handle the increased traffic we are supposed to see from the widening of the canal.
