Yes sir...up the shore line from the floodgate and from there about halfway to the mouth of the Dickinson channel opening into Dickinson Bay.
I can't do it from work, sorry.

I think he is still talking Moses & Dollar Bays but Dickinson channel from what I am seeing on my map comes out North of there and only way to get out & around looks to be Galveston bay...

No doubt this is the area but I don't see the danger I ran into and I can't believe I was so far of course that I ran into either one of the visible reefs in the image. There is a real hazard that runs straight out from the shore line toward the direction of the middle reef right of the man made island in this image.
Honestly...anyone running this area needs to be careful. I'm going to have to make a scouting day trip and post pictures of what I find. I have cruised this shoreline many times and know I wasn't of course.
Thank you Coe for the effort!

It's not in the other pictures either and I wasn't triping on acid...LOL

Hey Bert, they did a lot of dredging in the area to your right starting about 200yds past the entry to Dickinson channel. It goes for about 2/3 of the way to the gate at Moses. If you get behind it at the corner from dickinson you have to go a long way to get out from behind it.Stay to the left close to the bird island or center the channel.I got our little boat back there in the daylight and it kind of traps you.On a low tide you might see 3in of the top showing.

They put up a line of dredge material for about 3/4 mile about 20 yds to the right side of the channel headin to Moses.

It looks like they lost some or it silted in becaue of the pipe being there? You can tell there was /is some sort of obstruction that cause the sand to mound in that area...

The red circled area is exactly the location and it must had been real low tide as I could see it like a bad dream.
I was trying to get around it and the further out I got from shore the worse it seemed to get. It was white capping away from the shore and the wind was howling. I pointed the bow back towards shore, tilted up and throtteled hard, it was a struggle to free myself and I will not run it again at night untill I full understand what this crap is.
Thanks for all the input, y'all.
